Job Description
Entry level training position in the Highway Department at the Logan County Engineer's Office.  This is temporary summer employment for college students enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning for fall semester of 2018.

Highway Tech trainee generally perform unskilled to semi-skilled tasks, usually as a member of a designated work crew, under close supervision.  Duties include traffic control on work sites, assist in spreading and raking cold and hot asphalt mix, operating weed eater to cut back roadside foliage and other duties as assigned.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and highway traffic.  

Candidates must be 18 years of age, have a valid Ohio driver's license with a good driving record and live within a 36 minute commute to the Engineer's Office.  .  Applications and a complete job description are available at the Logan County Engineer's Office, 1991 C.R. 13, Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until March 30, 2018.
